Welcome to the Connect Care Event and Travel Portal.  

This Portal is used by the Connect Care Logistics Team to coordinate travel Connect Care Launch participants.

Changes to Your Travel Arrangements  

If you are traveling within the next 48 hours and require a change or cancellation, please contact Direct Travel 1-866-425-8611.

1. If you require a change to your travel arrangements, how you request that change will depend on the status of your travel arrangements. Login to the Portal and navigate to My Event Registrations page. The event will have three buttons to the right.
2. If the middle button is deactivated and reads Travel Details Pending, your travel is still in progress. Please email the Connect Care Logistics team to submit your changes to your travel.
3. If the middle button is activated and reads View Travel Details, your travel has been arranged. Please click on the button and scroll to the bottom of your confirmation until you see the Submit Change Request button and fill out the form. 4. Regardless of how your change is submitted, your request will then be processed by the Logistics Team and Direct Travel. Your travel with the correct arrangements will be posted to the Portal – you will receive an email once they are final and available for viewing.

If you are new to this process, you must first set up an account on the portal (called ‘registration’). You would have received an invitation from ConnectCare.ProgramCoordination@albertahealthservices.ca and instructions to complete your registration/account set-up.

Important tips for a successful registration

-Use ONLY your official work email address in the "Email Address" field while registering. AHS employees, please use john.doe@ahs.ca. Do not use the longer john.doe@albertahealthservices.ca.

-Multiple registrations, registrations with private emails in the work email field or registrations via a *forwarded* invitation code will be deleted.

Event Invitations

Once you have completed your registration, the Connect Care Logistics team can send you event invitations. We develop the list of participants who need an invitation from several different rotation schedules provided to us. If you are on one of those rotations, you’ll get an invite sent to you.

It is important to understand that the invitation comes to you via email; you will only see that event in the portal AFTER you have responded to the invitation email. If an event is not showing up in the portal, go check your email first to be sure you’ve submitted your response.

Inside the portal

• Important information regarding an event can be found by going to the My Event Registrations page and clicking on the title of the event.
• You will be notified via email when your travel confirmation is ready to be viewed on the Portal. When you log into the portal, you will notice your Travel Details Pending button will change to a functioning View Travel Details button, which you will click to view your confirmation. You will also now have access to the Change Request form and the Cancel Attendance button. Read on to learn more about those.

If you forgot your Username or Password

-If you have forgotten your username, you will need to contact the Connect Care Logistic team at the ConnectCare.ProgramCoordination@ahs.ca

-If you have forgotten your password, there is a ‘recover password’ function in the portal. Be sure and use @ahs.ca for the password recovery email—since the system will only recognize the exact email you used to register your account.
